‘King David ’ () translates into gold the best of three vigorous species:  Lilium davidii, L.tigrinum flaviflorum, and L. leichtlinii.  Its tall black stems and slightly fuzzy buds are the perfect foil for its tightly reflexed, black spotted, deep golden yellow flowers.  4 to 5 feet, late June.

‘Classic’ () has nodding, spotless, deep lemon yellow flowers with beautiful bronzerose reverse. Graced with a bell-shaped form like the more temperamental Lilium canadense, this vigorous hybrid returns taller and
