Something new and very, very special! Master hybridizer Johan Mak’s newest Asiapets bring us new forms and color patterns in this so-difficult-for-breeding group! These hybrids carry the genes of the drought-resistant trumpets plus the disease resistance and elongateed, many-budded infloresence of Lilium davidii, broadend by an additional generation of strong garden Asiatic genes!
‘Spiced Peach’ (Mak) bears wide-petalled outfacing flowers of soft peach, completely covered with a lovely sprinkling of tiny, delicate “spreckles,” something quite new outside of the Lilium lankongense hybrid group. Its luscious flowers carry a light scent, too! 3 to 4 feet and eventually taller, late June.
