‘Cafe au Lait Rose’ is a magnificent decorative dahlia. A vibrant version of its more neutral counterpart Cafe au Lait, these flowers have the same full flowing petals with a gorgeous pink hue. Everything people love about Cafe au Lait, for the lovers of a bright color palette. These flowers grow to be about 3.5 feet tall, with blooms up to 10 inches across. Blooms mid to late summer.
Our Dahlias are offered as undivided clump tubers and all weigh a minimum of 4oz at the time of harvest. All our Dahlias are grown on our farm in Woodland WA
Dahlias are not hardy in zone 8 and lower. The best time to plant is early may, or as soon as the chance of night frost is over. Dahlias like a good even watering throughout the summer and they will bloom until the first frost in the fall. In colder climates you can lift the tubers and let them overwinter in some dry peat in a cool frost free garage or basement.
