Dahlia 'Lilac Time'
Dahlia 'Lilac Time'
‘Lilac Time’ boasts vibrant 6-8” flowers with bountiful soft petals. The shade of lilac contrast against dark purple stems and rich green leaves. The plants are sturdy and support the full flowers well. Bloom late summer to the first frost. Plants grow to be about 3-4’.
Our Dahlias are offered as undivided clump tubers and all weigh a minimum of 4oz at the time of harvest. All our Dahlias are grown on our farm in Woodland WA
Dahlias are not hardy in zone 8 and lower. The best time to plant is early may, or as soon as the chance of night frost is over. Dahlias like a good even watering throughout the summer and they will bloom until the first frost in the fall. In colder climates you can lift the tubers and let them overwinter in some dry peat in a cool frost free garage or basement.
