New! 'Bondi' (sherwin)
New! 'Bondi' (sherwin)
‘Bondi’ (Sherwin) is a beguiling fourth-generation Aurelian hybrid with a pedigree that traces back to an assortment of Trumpet lily seeds provided by the Australian Lily Society years ago. Very late to emerge, Bondi is perfectly at home in our northern gardens. Sturdy 2 1/2 foot stems support a graceful, irregular circlet of six-inch up- to outfacing sunny yellow flowers. Subtle fragrance on warm summer nights. A light sand colored blush on the back of each petal completes the seaside motif. Up to six substantive flowers per stem. Blooms late June to mid July.
