New! 'Nightfall' (sherwin)
'Nightfall’ (Sherwin) is a ‘Garnet Falls’ sibling. Very late to emerge, Nightfall is one of the hybridizer’s hardiest lilies. And one of the most floriferous! Up to fifteen dapper 4-inch tightly recurved turkscap type flowers on strong 4-foot willowy stems open slowly for three weeks or more. Shiny petaled flowers open a rich, dark vermillion with warm, orange freckled centers. Striking orange pollen. Blooms age to near black. A good increaser! At home in the cottage garden or mixed borders. Mid June to mid July.
